Gideon joined the life insurance business with Canada Life in 1994 after a successful 17 year career in the advertising industry, running his own agency and production house. He was inspired to enter the business by his strong belief in insurance products and the passion that his wife brought to her successful insurance practice since 1990.

After quickly qualifying as an MDRT agent, Gideon took his strong team building and mentoring skills to management and was appointed as a Managing Partner for Canada Life's BC Regional Marketing Centre. Here he found the best in his recruits and taught them to use their natural tools to build their own thriving insurance practices.

In 2000, Gideon along with two partners established Complete Brokerage Services Inc., an independent managing general agency representing all carriers in Canada and providing the best of the old career development system with the new world and opportunities of brokerage distribution.

Gideon is a tireless volunteer, giving his time to his church, as the Game Director for AWANA Club Youth Ministry and as a fundraiser and contributor to International China Concern (ICC) which supports abandoned disabled children in China.
